Testosterone Undecanoate is a man-made drug for hormone replacement treatment. Andriol is a unique version of Testosterone called Testosterone Undecanoate. Your body turns Testosterone Undecanoate into Testosterone. Testosterone is a natural male hormone known as an androgen which controls normal sexual development in men, similar to the a naturally occurring steroid testosterone.
Testosterone Undecanoate is used in testosterone replacement therapy for male sexual problems such as: impotence caused by hormonal disorders, after castration or a similar problem called eunuchoidism, decreased sex drive and decreased mental and physical activity, infertility caused by low sperm count, bone loss caused by low hormone levels.
Take Andriol only as directed. Do not take more of Testosterone Undecanoate and do not take it more often than your doctor ordered. To do so may increase the chance of side effects.

Testosterone Undecanoate Dosage
The dose of Testosterone Undecanoate will be different for different patients. Follow your doctors orders or the directions on the label. The following information includes only the average doses of Testosterone Undecanoate. If your dose of Andriol is different, do not change it unless your doctor tells you to do so.
The number of tablets that you take depends on the patient. Also, the number of doses you take each day, the time allowed between doses, and the length of time you take the medicine depend on the medical problem for which you are taking the anabolic steroid.
If you miss a dose of Testosterone Undecanoate
If you miss a dose of Testosterone Undecanoate and your dosing schedule is:
One dose a day — Take the missed dose of Testosterone Undecanoate as soon as possible. However, if you do not remember it until the next day, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.
More than one dose a day — Take the missed dose of Andriol as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.

Storage — How to store Testosterone Undecanoate
- Keep Testosterone Undecanoate out of the reach of children.
- Store Andriol away from heat and direct light.
- Do not store Testosterone Undecanoate in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink, or in other damp places. Heat or moisture may cause the medicine to break down.
- Do not keep outdated Testosterone Undecanoate or Andriol no longer needed. Be sure that any discarded medicine is out of the reach of children.
Side effects of Testosterone Undecanoate
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects of Testosterone Undecanoate persist or become bothersome:
Acne; enlarging penis; increased frequency of erections; unnatural hair growth; Acne or oily skin; enlarging clitoris; hoarseness or deepening of voice; irregular menstrual periods; unnatural hair growth; unusual hair loss.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects of Andriol occur:
Bone pain; nausea or vomiting; sore tongue; swelling of feet or lower legs; unusual bleeding; unusual weight gain; Black, tarry, or light-colored stools; dark-colored urine; purple- or red-colored spots on body or inside the mouth or nose; sore throat and/or fever; vomiting of blood.
