Anadrol is an anabolic steroid, which is a man-made form of a hormone similar to Testosterone.
Oxymetholone is used to treat certain types of anemia (lack of red blood cells), including aplastic anemia, myelofibrosis, or hypoplastic anemia caused by chemotherapy.
Anadrol may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
In order for Anadrol to work properly, it is important that you follow a diet high in proteins and calories. If you have any questions about this, check with your health care professional.
The dose of Anadrol will be different for different patients. Follow your doctor's orders or the directions on the label. The following information includes only the average doses of Anadrol. If your dose is different, do not change it unless your doctor tells you to do so.
The number of tablets that you take depends on the patient. Also, the number of doses you take each day, the time allowed between doses, and the length of time you take the medicine depend on the medical problem for which you are taking the anabolic steroid.
Usual Adult Dose for Anemia:
1 to 5 mg/kg/day orally. Usual effective dose is 1 to 2 mg/kg/day. Response is often not immediate. Give for a minimum trial of 3 to 6 months.
Missed dose of Anadrol:
If you miss a dose of this medicine and your dosing schedule is:
One dose a day - Take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if you do not remember it until the next day, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.
More than one dose a day - Take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.
If you have any questions about this, check with your doctor.
Storage - To store Anadrol:
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Store away from heat and direct light.
- Do not store the tablets in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink, or in other damp places. Heat or moisture may cause the medicine to break down.
- Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed. Be sure that any discarded medicine is out of the reach of children.
Anadrol Side effects:
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects.
