Anavar (Oxandrolone)
Oxandrolone belongs to the group of medicines known as anabolic steroids. They are related to testosterone, a male sex hormone. Anabolic steroids help to rebuild tissues that have become weak because of serious injury or illness. A diet high in proteins and calories is necessary with anabolic steroid treatment.
Oxandrolone is indicated as adjunctive therapy to promote weight gain after weight loss following extensive surgery, chronic infections, or severe trauma, and in some patients who without definite pathophysiologic reasons fail to gain or to maintain normal weight, to offset the protein catabolism associated with prolonged administration of corticosteroids, and for the relief of the bone pain frequently accompanying osteoporosis.
Take Oxandrolone only as directed. Do not take more of Anavar and do not take it more often than your doctor ordered. To do so may increase the chance of side effects.

Oxandrolone Dosage
The dose of Oxandrolone will be different for different patients. Follow your doctors orders or the directions on the label. The following information includes only the average doses of Anavar. If your dose of Oxandrolone is different, do not change it unless your doctor tells you to do so.
The number of tablets that you take depends on the strength of the medicine. Also, the number of doses you take each day, the time allowed between doses, and the length of time you take the medicine depend on the medical problem for which you are taking the anabolic steroid.
Adults - The response of individuals to anabolic steroids varies. The daily adult dosage is 2.5 mg to 20 mg given in 2 to 4 divided doses. The desired response may be achieved with as little as 2.5 mg or as much as 20 mg daily. A course of therapy of 2 to 4 weeks is usually adequate. This may be repeated intermittently as indicated.
Children - For children the total daily dosage of Oxandrolone Tablets is ≤0.1 mg per kilogram body weight or ≤0.045 mg per pound of body weight. This may be repeated intermittently as indicated.
If you miss a dose of Oxandrolone
If you miss a dose of Oxandrolone and your dosing schedule is:
One dose a day — Take the missed dose of Anavar as soon as possible. However, if you do not remember it until the next day, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.
More than one dose a day — Take the missed dose of Oxandrolone as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.

Storage — How to store Oxandrolone
- Keep Oxandrolone out of the reach of children.
- Store Oxandrolone away from heat and direct light.
- Do not store Anavar in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink, or in other damp places. Heat or moisture may cause the Oxandrolone to break down.
- Do not keep outdated Oxandrolone or Anavar no longer needed. Be sure that any discarded medicine is out of the reach of children.
Side effects of Oxandrolone
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects of Oxandrolone persist or become bothersome:
Acne; enlarging penis; increased frequency of erections; unnatural hair growth; Acne or oily skin; enlarging clitoris; hoarseness or deepening of voice; irregular menstrual periods; unnatural hair growth; unusual hair loss.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects of Anavar occur:
Bone pain; nausea or vomiting; sore tongue; swelling of feet or lower legs; unusual bleeding; unusual weight gain; Black, tarry, or light-colored stools; dark-colored urine; purple- or red-colored spots on body or inside the mouth or nose; sore throat and/or fever; vomiting of blood.
