Sustanon (Testosterone Blend)
Sustanon consists of four different Testosterones:
- 30 mg Testosterone Propionate
- 60 mg Testosterone Phenylpropionate
- 60 mg Testosterone Isocaporate
- 100 mg Testosterone Decanoate
Testosterone is essential for the development and maintenance of reproductive tissue such as testis, prostate, epididymis, seminal vesicles and penis as well as other characteristic male properties such as increased muscle strength, hair growth etc. Sustanon is approved for replacement therapy for confirmed testosterone deficiency in males. Your doctor may prescribe Sustanon for other reasons. The drug was developed as a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) solution. The different Testosterone esters provide for different half lives. Esterization of the Testosterone molecules provides for a sustained (but non-linear) release of Testosterone from the injection depot into the blood plasma.
Testosterone Blend is used to promote weight gain following extensive surgery, chronic infection, or severe trauma, and in other cases that result in inadequate weight gain or maintenance. Testosterone Blend is also used to decrease muscle loss caused by treatment with corticosteroids and to reduce bone pain associated with osteoporosis.
